Add a bit of pizazz to your projects!
Fondly known as “wool tattoos,” embroidered designs and motifs on knitted and crocheted fabrics are a way to add personalized touches.
In this workshop, students will learn to use the following stitches:
- Bullion stitch
- Pistil stitch
- French knots
- Lazy daisy stitch
- Satin stitch
- Woven roses
- Fly stitch
Materials:
- Embroidery floss, yarn scraps and/or other threads with appropriate embroidery/darning needle sizes.
- Scissors
- At least one 5x7 inch swatch to practice on. (Knitters should use either stockinette or garter stitch. Crocheters should use single crochet stitch.)
Any supplies purchased from The Local Yarn Store for use in this class will be discounted 10%.
Please be sure to have your supplies in hand before the first session!
